After being covered up or electronically distanced for so long, I’m finally getting to see some of your smiling faces in my studio classes! After careful consideration we’ve revised our Covid policies to more closely follow the new NY State guidelines. With these changes, we are now starting to offer unmasked dance.
I’m personally very pleased to see the lifting of restrictions. Yet I know that not all of us are that comfortable with this new phase we are entering.
I anticipate some students will still opt to continue to wear a mask. If you qualify to not wear a mask but choose to still do, that is just fine. But those that want to dance unmasked, now have the choice with proof of vaccination.
Along with the change in mask policy, we have laid out a new grid on the studio floor. Of course we’ll still maintain our 6′ social distancing throughout the class. The new grid will allow class size to slightly increase. Many of you were getting locked out of classes, so this increase should help.
I’m also excited to announce that we have some new classes starting and some of our previous instructors will also be bringing their classes back shortly.
