Contemporary Ballet

Contemporary ballet combines the classical ballet foundation with both modern and jazz dance. Here is your chance to use classical ballet technique, but at the same time let go of the restrictions of the classical ballet line to feel a greater range of movement. Class will begin with barre work to increase strength and flexibility. More expressive movement will be introduced in the center work, across the floor combinations, and choreography.

This is an advanced beginner level class. At least one year of ballet, jazz or contemporary experience is recommended.
