I’m sure it won’t surprise you learn that the studio will remain closed indefinitely. The events surrounding this medical emergency are changing too rapidly for me to make any predictions. Rather than guessing about when we can reopen, we will remain closed until the State and County feel it’s safe again to resume normal operations.
I hope that you are well and are finding ways to exercise on your own. You can find some online options for dance and Essentrics in my latest blog post. Every day even more virtual classes are being offered on a wide range of platforms. I’ve tried many of them myself and have found that some are better than others. And of course, none of them are as good as a live class.

On a positive note, we’ve taken advantage of the studio closing to speed up the painting project. As of this morning, Mark is almost done painting. Everything from the back was moved onto the studio floor, which has given us a chance to do some deep cleaning. (I feel like all my husband and I are doing this past week is one form of cleaning or another).
Like all of you, I can’t wait to get back to normal. (Though our future normal maybe somewhat different from our old definition of normal.) I really miss seeing all of you. Teaching is my passion, so I started offering private online lessons to keep me going (contact me if you’re interested).
I will keep you posted about updates.
